This project involved crafting a custom polished concrete fire hearth tailored to the customer’s specifications and the requirements of their log burner. To create a truly unique piece, the customer provided stones they had personally collected from Riverton Beach in Southland. These carefully chosen stones became the centerpiece of the hearth, adding a personal and striking focal point to their lounge.

The polished concrete hearth was designed not only for functionality but also to enhance the natural beauty of the Riverton stones. The polishing process, combined with specialized resins, highlighted the rich colors and textures of the stones, creating a stunning visual effect. The result is a one-of-a-kind hearth that not only serves its purpose but also carries sentimental value, reminding the family of their memorable weekend at the beach.
